Oklahoma City Woman Pleads Guilty to Health Care Fraud

From January 2021 through December 2023, Allmon worked as a behavioral health counselor, and had an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) to provide behavioral health counseling services. According to public records, during this period, Allmon either submitted or caused to be submitted thousands of false and fraudulent claims for behavioral health counseling sessions for family members to BCBS for reimbursement. Court records allege that Allmon routinely claimed to have provided 60-minute psychiatric treatment to family members nearly every day of a calendar year, and routinely claimed to have treated beneficiaries for more than 24 hours in a single day.
In total during the period, Allmon submitted approximately $1.4 million in claims for services provided, for which she received close to $1.1 million in reimbursements from BCBS. On August 1, 2025, Allmon was charged by Information with health care fraud. Allmon pleaded guilty on August 15, 2025, and admitted she knowingly executed a scheme to defraud a healthcare benefit program.
At sentencing, Allmon faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000. This case is the result of an investigation by the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office. Assistant U.S.
